Christopher Jain Miller, PhD, is the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Professor of Jain and Yoga Studies at Arihanta Institute (arihanta-academy.com). He is also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Zürich’s Asien-Orient-Institut. He has published articles about the history and practice of modern yoga, yoga and politics, yoga philosophy, and Jainism and ecology. He is a co-editor of the volume Beacons of Dharma: Spiritual Exemplars for the Modern Age (2020) and the author of Embodying Transnational Yoga (Routledge, Forthcoming).
