Dagmar Wujastyk is Associate Professor in History and Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Alberta in Canada. From 2015-2020, she was the Principal Investigator of the Ayuryog project, which examined the historical connections and entanglements between the South Asian disciplines of yoga, ayurveda and alchemy. She is the author of Well-Mannered Medicine (OUP 2021), a study on medical ethics and etiquette in classical Ayurveda, and the editor of several volumes on the Indian medical and alchemical traditions. She is currently editing a sourcebook of Indian alchemy, with translations from a range of Sanskrit alchemical texts.
