Lara Bauden is a research assistant at the Royal Museum of Mariemont (Belgium). She studied Japanese Studies at Ca' Foscari University of Venice (BA and MA) and holds a Master's degree in Art History and Archaeology (SOAS, University of London, 2019). Her research interests focus on the history of the collection and exhibition of Buddhist material culture in European museums. She recently co-curated the exhibition Sensing the Buddha (ongoing).
