Maxime Vandenberghe is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science at Ghent University. He holds a master’s degree in Political Science (2018, Ghent University). His main research interests are federalism, regionalism, and party politics, with a particular focus on Belgium. Maxime currently prepares a PhD dissertation (FWO) in which he maps ethno-territorial conflicts in Belgian cabinets (since 1979) and explains their prevalence.
