Sara Salvérius (Ghent, 1985) studied accordion with Philippe Thuriot at the Conservatory of Ghent. She participated in various folk and world music projects (Olla Vogala, Aranis, Griff, etc.) and performed in Canada, South Africa, China, Italy and Greece.
Together with cellist Lode Vercampt and violinist Wouter Vandenabeele, she forms the trio Chansons Tryptique. She shared the stage with Gwen Cresens, Tuur Florizoone, Rony Verbiest, Antje De Boeck, Osama Abdulrasol, Vera Coomans and many others.
Since 2017, she has devoted much of her time to her own compositions and was awarded the Flanders Folk Award for best album in 2022.
